Position Description

Emtec is growing and building a world-class sales team to continue to grow our client base. We are currently looking for a dynamic and energetic Sales Executive to focus on hunting new opportunities for our Emtec Digital Services (EDS) business unit.  Emtec Digital focuses on platform engineering and digital product development. Generally clients trust us with their revenue producing and client-facing products.  The keys to success are:  quality, high feature deployment, velocity and stability.  We don't just build a product and leave future problems to another team.  We automate and build with the understanding that we may also be deploying the product in the future.

 

These services and solutions are provided by Emtec's techno-savvy teams who provide advisory, implementation, integration, and managed support services across Microsoft's as well as OpenSource technology stacks:

  • Custom Application Development - .Net, Java, PHP, Python, JS Frameworks like React, Angular etc.
  • Mobile
  • Cloud
  • Big Data and Analytics
  • Collaboration - SharePoint and Yammer
  • RPA

The Sales Executive will be an individual contributor with the following key responsibilities:

  • Hunting, identifying and closing new business within the AO/SI market space
  • Attain established sales/revenue goals
  • Collaborate with client account teams to build pipeline and close business
  • Build “client for life” relationships
  • Develop portfolio strategies
     

Must Have Skills:

  • Experience selling IT Services with a focus on cloud, mobile, social and analytics custom applications development and/or managed services projects which includes:
    • Onshore/offshore solution model
    • A proven and consistent track record exceeding quotas ($1-3M) consisting of annual sales and revenue objectives
    • A proven and consistent track record selling to Fortune 1000 and SMB companies
  • At minimum, a Bachelor's Degree
  • Able and willing to travel as needed, flexibility for up to 50% at times

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Established relationships with engineering leadership within the Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare and Hi-Tech Industries
  • Some vertical expertise in Supply Chain and Logistics and similar industries like Energy and Manufacturing is helpful
  • Previous experience in application development, platform services
  • Some knowledge of Salesforce and Oracle clouds will be useful in selling Digital Engineering services to existing Emtec customers 

 

Professional Skills:

  • Strong demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to navigate and collaborate through complex opportunities
