We are looking to hire a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to assist our client with computer hardware and software issues. You will be required to work on-site in San Antonio, TX or El Paso, TX and assist with hardware installations, software upgrades, systems integrations, and basic IT-related issues.
To ensure success as a Desktop Support Engineer, you should have extensive knowledge of home and office systems, good problem-solving skills, and high-level interpersonal skills. A top-class Desktop Support Technician provides fast and effective support for clients experiencing basic hardware and software issues.
For this position your shifts will be Sun-Wed or Thurs-Sat, and you must be able to accommodate either a day (6 am-6 pm) or night (6 pm-6 am) schedule.
Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Daily work instructions will be provided by onsite Client staff
Work with existing ticketing system if available
Troubleshoot issues with Windows 10
Troubleshoot various applications
Network troubleshooting and problem remediation for end user connectivity
Port Patching as required
Printer software and/or hardware troubleshooting
Troubleshoot laptop/desktop hardware
Rack and Stack networking equipment as needed
New equipment setup as required for end users
