Position Description

Emtec is seeking Desktop Support resource to assist with a client project cleaning up Outlook PST files.  This role requires excellent knowledge of Windows 10, MS-Outlook PSTs as well as meticulous documentation skills. 

 

This contract position is anticipated to be 3-6 months of work and 100% remote.

 

Tasks for this role will include but may not be limited to:

  • Coordinating review of current PST’s with business users to evaluate needs
  • Training users on email retrieval through Mimecast personal portal
  • Configuration of Outlook client to remove existing PST’s
  • Deletion of current PST’s
  • Escalating any needs outside the current scope of remediation
  • User support including material creation
  • White glove support to users

Must Have Skills:

 

  • 5+ years of experience providing client/user support for the following:
    • Windows 10
    • MS-Outlook
  • An understanding of file shares and drive mappings
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook data files, in particular PSTs
  • Experience with Mimecast
  • Strong ability to follow directions and documentation
