Position Description

This is a remote position that requires 50-75% travel.


Emtec is seeking an Oracle National Sales Director who will be responsible for business development, pipeline management, and sales performance of the Emtec Consulting Services (ECS) sales team within the United States.  In addition to managing an individual quota, the National Sales Director will be responsible for the leadership and performance of the sales team.  Reporting to the Managing Director, Business Development and Alliances, this position will be responsible for brand awareness of Emtec’s capabilities with existing/prospective clients and the Oracle ecosystem, sales performance, effective sales strategy and execution, and accuracy in sales forecasts.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Leadership of a national sales team and the performance of that sales team
  • Consistent achievement of quarterly bookings targets in value as well as mix of services
  • Generation and management of a consistent flow of sales leads for ECS, achieving a consistent pipeline of 3x bookings target, individually and nationally
  • Qualification of opportunities and leadership of sales strategy on qualified opportunities
  • Creation and execution of the sales strategy on qualified opportunities, with collaboration from the involved ECS practice areas
  • Individual sales execution, including client relationship management, demand generation, qualification and sales strategy processes.
  • Presentation of Emtec’s capabilities and value proposition to existing/prospective clients and Oracle
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of sales and marketing materials
  • Maintenance of all sales, marketing and pipeline management tools to ensure client and opportunity data is current and accurate
  • Supporting field marketing efforts such as trade-shows, exhibits and events
  • Actively participating in all required training and development needs

Must Have Skills: 

  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals, and of building and sustaining a pipeline of services opportunities
  • Demonstrated competencies in sales strategy, rapport and trust building, collaboration and teamwork and a visible desire to achieve results and to coach, lead and motivate a sales team
  • 4-year undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in business, marketing, finance, technology or communications, and 5+ years of relevant sales experience
  • Experience using CRM and marketing tools such as Salesforce.com, Eloqua, etc.
