Position Description

This is a remote position that requires at least 50% travel.

 

Emtec is seeking an Oracle Managed Services Sales Director who will be responsible for business development, pipeline management, and new logo Managed Services bookings on a National level within the United States.  This person will be responsible for brand awareness of Emtec’s capabilities with existing/prospective clients and the Oracle ecosystem, personal sales performance, effective sales strategy and execution, and accuracy in sales forecasts. Reporting to the Managing Director, Business Development and Alliances, this position will be a critical component of Emtec’s ‘client for life’ philosophy.  In addition to generating and closing business with new logos, this position will also be responsible for renewals and business growth within an assigned set of accounts. 

  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Presenting Emtec’s capabilities and value proposition to existing/prospective clients
  • Generating and managing a consistent flow of sales leads for ECS, achieving a consistent pipeline of 3x bookings target
  • Qualifying opportunities and leading sales strategy on qualified opportunities
  • Creating and executing sales strategy on qualified opportunities, with collaboration from the involved ECS practice areas
  • Consistently achieving quarterly bookings targets in value as well as mix of services
  • Effectively managing client relationships and overall health of Emtec’s business
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of sales and marketing materials
  • Maintaining all sales, marketing and pipeline management tools to ensure client and opportunity data is current and accurate
  • Supporting field marketing efforts such as trade-shows, exhibits and events
  • Actively participating in all required training and development needs

Must Have Skills

  • 4-year undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in business, marketing, finance, technology or communications, and 5+ years of relevant sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain healthy business relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Ability to identify implicit client needs and apply Emtec solutions to address needs, and manage the entirety of the sales cycle
  • Proven track record of achieving sales goals, and of building and sustaining a pipeline of services opportunities by leveraging Oracle relationships and professional networks
  • Demonstrated competencies in sales strategy, rapport and trust building, collaboration and teamwork and a visible desire to achieve results
  • Experience using CRM and marketing tools such as Salesforce.com, Eloqua, etc.
