    Position Description

    The BMC Remedy ITSM (IT Service Management) Developer must have a wide range of knowledge including installation, configuration, customization, implementation, and maintenance of the BMC ITSM Suite of applications to help with client migrations of ITSM tools.


    Must Have Skills:

    • 8+ years' experience as a software developer with experience in application development or systems integration
    • 5+ years as a developer using BMC Remedy ARS v8.x or higher and related tools, to deliver ITSM solutions to enterprise clients
    • ITIL certified or 5+ years of project experience involved with the deployment of ITIL-based ITSM tools, and processes
    • 3+ years of implementation experience with BMC Remedy v8.x ITSM deployment and experience with v9.x, involving 2 or more of the following technologies
      • V8.x or 9.x Change, Incident, Problem and Knowledge Management
      • ITSM Reporting using BMC Analytics
      • Service Request Management, and development of customized SRM forms, within the v8.x or 9.x ITSM platform
      • Custom integrations using v8.x or v9.x Remedy ITSM platform

    Preferred Skills:

    • BMC Automation technologies (e.g. BSA, BNA, BDA, BMA, CLM)
    • Performance, Capacity and Availability Management, using BPPM 9.x or greater
    • Experience with BMC Atrium Integrator or Atrium Orchestrator products

    Professional Skills:

    • Strong ability to manage client relationships
    • Excellent problem solving skills, creativity, and insight with the ability to dissolve crisis situations with clients
    • Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
      • Comfortable in front of a technical or managerial audience
      • Ability to lead a workshop or small scale training course
    • Excellent written communication ability
      • Creation of quality presentations, white papers, etc
      • Writing the technical grids for proposal responses
    • Strong analytical and technical skills
