    Position Description

    As a Solutions Account Executive for IT Services, you will generate and close sales of the solutions from Emtec’s Service Catalog focusing within the province of Quebec. You will concentrate on selling Emtec services and product licensing in a variety of industries including Commercial, Local Government, and Mid-Market Enterprise clients. Your responsibilities are to generate, develop, and close sales opportunities with a focus on new business. You will work closely with internal and external customers, as well as various levels of the organization.   



    • Develop and manage accounts to meet and surpass a $2M+ sales quota
    • Meet or exceed annual sales top line revenue and margin goals as defined by management
    • Drive profitably and grow revenue for target accounts
    • Adhere to sales process including but not limited to pipeline development and accurate forecasting via internal tools
    • Engage the client in consulting-led approach to gain an understanding of the business issues and objectives
    • Develop a new account base, establish relationship and close viable business opportunities
    • Develop partnerships with vendor field sales representatives and optimize the joint selling opportunities
    • Maintain a high level of knowledge about Emtec’s services

    Must Have Skills:


    • Minimum 5 years sales experience as a Hunter selling IT Services Solutions with a particular focus on IT Service Management, Security and Compliance Solutions
    • Deep understanding of GDPR and PIPEDA to advise clients on compliance and help design solutions
    • Proven success in highly competitive new client acquisition, profitable sales growth
    • Have the demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles, achieve sales goals, and articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings
    • Vendor knowledge of and relations with major alliance partners such as BMC, HP, Microsoft, and Cisco
    • Strong complex sales strategy experience
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and Salesforce
    • Strong understanding of common business practices in the areas of sales cycles, customer service, accounting, pricing, purchasing, shipping, and billing
    • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn concepts related to IT services management and solutions
    • Established C-Level (CEO, CIO, CFO, COO, CRM, CISO) customer relationships and management of those relationships
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
    • Must be bilingual (French/English)

    Preferred Skills:


    •  Previous experience selling BMC Software services or similar as a partner vendor

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in French and English
    • Creative, independent thinker with strong business ethics and integrity
