    Position Description

    As the Systems Administrator you must be proficient in SCCM with strength in Windows servers and desktop technologies to be able to act as a subject matter expert on Emtec client projects.  Excellent customer service skills over years of providing above and beyond support and service. Excellent oral and written communication abilities which allow you to work as an effective team member and adapt to varying client cultures. You must be organized, detail oriented, and skilled at multi-tasking in high pressure and diverse technical environments. Ability to effectively train others and be an active participant in setting standards.



    • Build and deploy a SCCM distribution point

    • Create machine catalogs

    • Create software packages, task sequences, OSDs, and patch management for deployment through SCCM

    • Create reports in SCCM utilizing native tools

    • Troubleshooting connectivity and deployment issues with end user devices and distribution points
    • Writing PowerShell scripts
    • Serving as the SCCM SME on projects
    • Assisting the service desk with resolution of in-depth end user issues
    • Staying up to date on the evolving functionality of SCCM and working with IT stakeholders to implement new features as they become available

    Must Have Skills:


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, or relevant discipline
    • 5+ years of networks and infrastructure systems Administration
    • 5+ years Windows administration
    • SCCM 2016/2012 experience
    • Experience with PowerShell scripting
    • Solid background with SQL queries
    • A consultative/advisory mindset with the ability to design

    • Knowledge of Windows 7/10
    • Relevant Microsoft certifications
