    Position Description

    Emtec is looking for a personable and confident Network Administrator / Engineer to assist and consult at one of our retail clients. This position will be a 3-6 month opportunity with possible extensions for add-on work.

    Location:  Required onsite work in Parsippany, NJ area.


    Must Have Skills: 


    • 5+ years of networking experience that includes:
      • Cisco
      • VOIP
      • Good knowledge of asset management using a variety of discovery tools
      • Knowledge of network engineering, security concepts, practices and standards


    Professional Skills: 


    • Ability to follow very detailed documented work procedures
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with an ability to alter their style to accommodate clients from limited to expert technical knowledge
    • Strong customer service skills
    • Confident yet personable
    • Ability to work well independently as well as well in a team environment
