    Position Description

    Experienced leader to collaborate and own the delivery of business driven requests for a specific technology platform. Focus on company-wide platform strategies, solutions, and new business functionality to enhance and promote the execution of delivery. A hands-on self-starter with a combination of an understanding of technology and strong communication skills. 

    Key Accountabilities 

    • Service to the Team 
    • Coaching the team in self-organization and cross-functionality 
    • Removing impediments to the team’s progress to its sprint commitments 
    • Facilitating scrum activities including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups 
    • Enacting change & continuous improvement to increase the productivity of the team and quality of deliverables 
    • Coaching the team in organizational environments in which scrum is not yet fully adopted and understood 
    • Ensure team execution and delivery to committed sprint work 

    Stakeholder Management and Leadership 

    • Leading and coaching the organization in its scrum adoption 
    • Helping associates and stakeholders understand and enact scrum in their lines of business 
    • Identify, manage, help mitigate project issues and risks 
    • Working with other Scrum Masters via a Community of Practice to increase the effectiveness of the application of scrum in the organization

    Risk and Control: All consultants have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal client Policies and Policy Standards 

     

    Must Have Skills:

    • At least 10 years of software industry experience 
    • At least 3 years of formal agile role experience
    • Scrum Master certification

    • Solid written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
    • Strong team and individual player
    • Maintains composure during all types of situations and is collaborative by nature
    • High standards of professionalism, consistently producing high quality results
    • Self-sufficient, independent requiring very little supervision or intervention
