Position Description

Emtec is growing and building a world-class sales team to continue to grow our client base.  We are currently looking for a dynamic and energetic Sales Representative to focus on hunting new opportunities for Emtec Digital Services (EDS). These services and solutions are provided by Emtec's techno-savvy teams who provide advisory, implementation, integration, and managed support services across Microsoft's as well as OpenSource technology stacks:

  • Custom Application Development - .Net, Java, PHP, Python, JS Frameworks like React, Angular etc.
  • Mobile
  • Cloud
  • Big Data and Analytics
  • Collaboration - SharePoint and Yammer
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) - Dynamics CRM

As a Sales Representative, you have a solid track record in prospecting, qualifying and generating new sales leads to support the EDS Sales Executives. You are a highly motivated individual who is a self-starter, able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospects lists, discovery and individual resource. A dynamic personality with a drive to reach decision makers is essential.

On a day to day basis you will:

  • Contact enterprise prospects via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media to introduce EDS solutions and identify appropriate buyers within the target market
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects
  • Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospects pain points to determine how Emtec will speak to those needs
  • Identify key buying influencers within these prospects to determine budget and timeline
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Work with Sales Executives and the Sales Manager to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet quarterly revenue goals
  • Manage data for new and prospective clients in Salesforce, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached
  • Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards

Location:  near any of Emtec East coast or Midwest offices


Must Have Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or related field
  • 1-3 years telemarketing and/or inside services sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas
  • Experience with CRM Software, ideally Salesforce
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
