Position Description

Location is negotiable, up to 25% of travel required. Candidates in Chicago and Minneapolis are strongly preferred. Candidates in Boston, Dallas, St. Louis and Atlanta will also be considered.  


The Alliance Manager is Emtec’s primary point of contact to Oracle Corporation and other strategic partners, and reports to the Business Development Director.  The Alliance Manager is responsible representing Emtec to our strategic partners and managing the relationships and deal flow between Emtec and our partners. This individual will ensure partner alignment from the executive team to the field, promote Emtec capabilities with partners, and drive lead generation and deal flow from partners to Emtec. 



  • Actively promotes Emtec capabilities to Oracle and other strategic partners to generate deal flow for Emtec, aligned to Emtec’s solution portfolio
  • Maintains knowledge of Oracle’s go-to-market and product strategy and shares knowledge with Emtec associates
  • Identifies opportunities for joint go-to-market initiatives and partner funding for special marketing programs and/or IP development
  • Ensures alignment of Emtec’s executive, management and sales professionals with the corresponding partner individuals
  • Works with the appropriate teams in field event planning, execution, and lead follow up
  • Advocates for Emtec influence on all opportunities presented by Emtec to Oracle and other strategic partners
  • Manages the individual partner certification process for consulting professionals in support of Oracle partnership requirements and special programs, i.e. Customer Excellence Implementer
  • Manages the registration and renewal process for corporate-level partnerships
  • Manages partner scorecards and tracks key metrics to ensure the health of partner relationships

Must Have Skills: 

  • 5 years of experience working in the Oracle services ecosystem which includes:
    • Established relationships with Oracle in the mid-market or upmarket teams
    • Demonstrated ability to cultivate and nurture professional partner relationships at executive, management and field levels
    • Ability to prioritize and manage work load in a fast-paced environment 
  • 4-year undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in business, marketing, finance, technology or communications or comparable work experience in the Oracle services ecosystem
