Position Description

Location Negotiable. Candidates in the Mid-Atlantic and Lower Midwest region are strongly preferred.


Emtec is seeking a Sales Executive to join an established team of experienced sales professionals selling business consulting services related to Emtec's core service offerings (advisory, implementation, and managed services) for our Oracle Practice.  This person will manage sales through forecasting, solution development, deal closure, and account management.


The ideal candidate will utilize the assets of the organization to ensure their success. These include:


  • Innovative, cloud-based go-to-market sales and marketing tools & materials
  • Marketing support including events, and campaigns
  • Inside sales support
  • Solution delivery content and case studies
  • Existing customer relationships
  • Strong alignment with software issuer partners and their field sales representatives

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 


  • Revenue generation of cloud and packaged application services at named prospects and customers in a defined territory
  • Awareness and cross sell opportunity identification across all Emtec offerings including application outsourcing, information management, IT service management, strategy and consulting
  • Building relationships with software vendor sales channel, and working collaboratively to drive mutually beneficial software and consulting services opportunities
  • Attending and coordinating local user group activities

Must Have Skills:   


  • 5-10 years of experience in sales, business development and/or consulting services that includes:
    • Experience selling or working with cloud and on-premises business application services and solutions
    • A proven and consistent track record exceeding quotas ($3-5M) consisting of annual sales and revenue objectives; an alternative to quota attainment would be experience working with clients on business process optimization, technology based solutions etc.
  • Functional experience selling into 1 or more of the following client business areas:  Finance, HR or IT
  • Candidate should be willing to travel up to 30%

Preferred Skills:  


  • A proven and consistent track record selling or working with Emerging Market, Mid-Market or Enterprise based companies
  • Established relationships at the C-Suite level relationships in a vertical, or geographic market
  • Strong understanding and relationships within Oracle vendor ecosystem
  • Education at the level of a MBA or CPA

  • Ability to navigate and collaborate through complex opportunities
