Position Description

Emtec is seeking an Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Consultant who will advise upon, lead, and work on high impact activities within the systems development lifecycle, and provide advisory work for the IT function itself.

 

Oracle Cloud-SCM professionals design, implement and deploy Oracle supply chain management solutions for advanced planning and scheduling, procurement, manufacturing and warehouse management processes, as well as for engineer-to-pay, order-to-cash and plan-to-build business cycles.

 

Location is negotiable

 

Responsibilities (to include but not limited to):

 

  • Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems
  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
  • Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor
  • May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Emtec
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance
  • Decisions often impact the team in which they reside
  • Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Emtec

Must Have Skills:

 

  • Minimum of 3 years of Oracle Cloud application design & configuration to include:
    • Functional domain expertise in Supply Chain
    • At least one full Oracle SCM Cloud implementation (SaaS or PaaS)
    • Cloud integration approach and architecture experience
    • Cloud implementation methodology

  • Desire to work in an information systems environment  
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
