Position Description

Emtec is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented and passionate Sales Manager to join our team. This position will focus on our core service offerings (advisory, implementation and support services) for the Emtec Digital Services (EDS) Practice that includes Application Development and Managed Services, Mobility, Analytics and Big Data. This person will drive sales through forecasting, solution development, deal closure, and account management and will manage a small team of sales executives.


Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):  

  • Hunting, identifying and closing new business
  • Attaining established sales/revenue goals
  • Coaching and mentoring a team of Sales Executives
  • Awareness and cross sell opportunity identification across all Emtec offerings including application outsourcing, information management, IT service management, strategy and consulting
  • Building relationships with software vendor sales channel, and working collaboratively to drive mutually beneficial software and digital services opportunities
  • Attending and coordinating local user group activities
  • Building “client for life” relationships

Must Have Skills: 

  • Bachelor's Degree, MBA or higher
  • 10-15 years’ experience selling solutions/services that includes:
    • Application Development and Managed Services (ADMS), Mobility, Big Data and Analytics projects/solutions
    • Track record of achieving quota targets and enabling sales reports to achieve theirs
    • Established relationships at the C-Suite level
    • A proven and consistent track record selling to Fortune 500-1000 companies
  • Candidate should be willing to travel up to 30%
  • Experience working through channel partner sales ecosystem for key ISVs like Microsoft, Salesforce.com etc.
