Position Description

Emtec is seeking a Fusion SCM Functional Consultant who can understand business requirements, functional specifications.  The Consultant will:

  • Understand the functional requirements and derive detailed technical specifications
  • Impact analysis and propose functional solutions for the enhancement requests
  • Work with Onsite and Client teams to implement the changes and resolve the issues resulting post implementation
  • Perform Unit / System Integration testing

Must Have Skills: 

  • Minimum experience of 4-8 years in IT that includes:
  • Extensive Fusion SCM Functional experience
  • Experience with 1-2 Oracle Fusion Implementations
  • Good functional knowledge and hands-on experience on Fusion SCM modules like Planning Central, Inventory and Cost Management
  • Subject Matter Expert with the entire Oracle SCM ERP module
  • Excellent analytical skills and understanding of business process, and ability to work in a highly customized Oracle Applications Environment
  • Ability to lead in a hands on capacity on all project phases: Project Preview, Fit/Gap Analysis, Configuration and Testing
  • Experience in Oracle EBS functional SCM areas and Oracle Value Chain Planning (VCP) or Oracle ASCP
  • Experience of having worked in a client facing delivery role 
  • Must have knowledge of documenting using OUM or any other methodology  
  • CA/MBA-Finance/BE/B.Tech/MCA/MSc Computers or equivalent

Preferred Skills: 

  • Previous experience with: 
  • Assisting business user during CRPs/SITs/UATs
  • Preparing quality deliverables 
  • Preparing test scripts and test cases 
  • Conducting trainings
  • Supporting Project Management Office (PMO)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Ability to work with Executives
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to conduct workshops with Functional and business users
  • Strong customer handling skills and ability to lead & mentor team-members
